The Rhône Valley, from north to south, embodies the richness and diversity of an exceptional terroir, where each parcel expresses its own identity. Our resolutely parcel-based approach honors this philosophy of "vin de lieu": we vinify and age our best parcels separately to reveal the geological and climatic singularity of each one.

This mastery of detail is combined with an intimate knowledge of the great Rhône grape varietals that shape our wines: Syrah in the northern valley, with its mineral freshness and peppery aromas, and Grenache in the southern valley, generous and warm.

Blending, the crucial moment in our work, is the result of thoughtful, precise selection, combining the distinctive qualities of our terroirs and grape varieties to create wines of harmony and depth. In this way, Jacques Dunay wines combine rigorous parcel selection with knowledge of the grape varieties, offering wines of character that bear the authentic signature of our traditional house.
